Does a soul really wander
Wonder as I ponder
Farther that it was intended
Suspended in mid sentence
Do we let go of living vicariously
Through others in a fantasy
Quickly extinguishing the duality
Following the signs to the promise lands
Exhibited ever quickening in the womb
We are born into a deadly spiral
Cradle to grave cumulonimbus rivals
Hating every primitive undertone
Lurking in the shadows amongst fellows
Sparrows that are blackening my door
Cowards that have set the tone
All alone with ghostly thoughts
Prisms of memories consuming haunts
Is there really a spectacle of sorts
Living moods dourest perverted sparks
Homing uncharted universes
Questions do I leaven ever sorrow
As if tomorrow never came
Scarlet rain broken chains
Finding a place amongst the freedom

The entire first half.
We are born into a deadly spiral
Cradle to grave cumulonimbus rivals
That's just great rhythm right there, pushing the ideas along well.
Lurking in the shadows amongst fellows
Sparrows that are blackening my door
Sparrows are such an unexpected thing to associate with shadows, and 'blackening my door' makes one think of being swarmed with suspicion.
'Spectacle' takes on a second meaning when following ' Prism', which is cool.
'Homing uncharted universes' - lovely line.
I love the idea of leavening questions. Would never have thought of that.
The last line sums everything up nicely.
